Screenshots stay on your device
Capture and stitching take place locally in Chrome. Code & Prod does not receive captured images, pixels, content, page URLs or titles, or browsing history. Files are saved or copied at your request. These data are not sent to the licensing service, Stripe or the email provider.
Purchase, licence and support data
We process the details needed for your order and licence: name, email, billing address, optional company and VAT details, public licence reference, Stripe payment identifiers, pseudonymous installation identifier, activations, recovery and support correspondence. Recovery and withdrawal requests use hashes of email, reference and IP address to secure the service.
Stripe handles card data; Code & Prod does not store them. A public UFS reference alone is not sufficient to activate or recover a licence.
Purposes and legal bases
Contract performance covers ordering, delivery, licence management and recovery, withdrawal and support. Legal obligations cover accounting and legally required requests. Security, fraud prevention and the defence of rights rely on legitimate interests subject to your rights.
The licensing service does not use your data for advertising, marketing or commercial profiling.
Providers and transfers
Recipients are authorised Code & Prod personnel and the providers required for the service: IONOS for hosting, Google Workspace / Gmail for delivery and support email, and Stripe for payments and records. The hosting provider is IONOS SARL, 7 place de la Gare, BP 70109, 57200 Sarreguemines Cedex, France, https://www.ionos.fr/. Its registered address does not establish the location of every processing activity.
Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their contractual documents describe applicable adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses according to the transfer. You may request information or a copy of relevant safeguards at contact@codenprod.com.
Provider information: https://www.ionos.fr/terms-gtc/ ; https://cloud.google.com/terms/data-processing-addendum/ ; https://workspace.google.com/terms/subprocessors/ ; https://stripe.com/privacy. Stripe may act as controller or processor depending on the service.
Retention
We retain no screenshots because we never receive them. Operational purchase and licence data remain necessary to provide and manage the purchased right. Accounting records are retained for ten years after the relevant financial year ends.
The licensing service removes personal content from its email queue after thirty days and purges security audit logs after ninety days. This does not delete invoices, data needed for the licence or support mailbox messages. Recovery codes are single-use and valid for fifteen minutes; management sessions expire after thirty minutes.
Support correspondence is retained while resolving the request and following up warranties or complaints. Evidence needed for legal obligations or a dispute may then be kept in restricted archives for applicable statutory periods; other material is not intended to be kept beyond its usefulness.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object under applicable conditions, at contact@codenprod.com. Proportionate identity verification may be required.
We normally respond within one month. Complex or numerous requests may require two additional months, with notice in the first month. You may complain to the French data protection authority: https://www.cnil.fr/fr/adresser-une-plainte.
Security and Chrome storage
Export preferences and licence information are stored in your Chrome profile. Licensing exchanges use HTTPS. Do not publish licence tokens, installation secrets or recovery codes or send them to support.
